Performance Appraisal is a tool for performance improvement. It an essential human resource activity intended to increase efficiency and productivity provide opportunity continuously review agreed-upon targets as per the organization's set objectives. The objective of study was investigate influence appraisal on application professional knowledge, time management, creativity in teaching, development public secondary school teachers Migori County, Kenya. Goal-setting theory guided this study. A descriptive survey design used. sample size included 342 from 57 schools. used simple stratified random sampling techniques. Questionnaires document analysis guide were collect data. Content validity tested through expert judgement by supervisors. test re-test method reliability. reliability questionnaire instrument 0.85. Data analyzed using ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient ('r'), multiple Regression analysis. established that Teacher significant predictor teachers' performance. concludes translates into increased productivity. recommends, among others, expectations teacher should clearly be communicated them Teachers Service Commission (TSC) involved designing criteria.
